As invited by our partner comrade-in-arms Movie Mania, our Singapore Star Trek Fansite deployed a fully armed Away Team to compete in the Superhero Cosplay Competition, held on 7 June 2008 (Saturday), in conjunction with the Singapore Movie Fiesta at Vivo City.
Several Trekkies responded to our calls to arms, including Trekkies Dr EMH, Superstar, lhs1701, Fahmi, Nova07 and his daughter Amelia.

The Starfleet Legion marched around the VivoCity before the Cosplay Competition. Many shoppers stopped and took photo with our Star Trek costumers.

At 5.00pm, the Superhero Cosplay Competition began.

Winners of Cosplay Competition
At 6.30pm, the result of the Superhero Cosplay Competition was announced.
All contestants were invited to go on stage again for a group photo.

A total of 10 Consolation Prizes, 3 Special Awards, and Top 3 Prizes will be awarded.
Trekkies Dr EMH (Vulcan), Fahmi (Klingon) and Nova07 (Talaxian) each walked away with a Consolation Prize worth $300. Trekkie Superstar (Ferengi) won a special award - Judges' Favourite Award!

First prize champion walked away with over $3,000 worth of prizes.
Second prize runner-up is awarded with $900 worth of prizes. Third prize runner-up grabbed $650 worth of prize.
