Welcome to Singapore Star Trek Fansite at StarTrek.com.sg (or StarTrek.sg).
StarTrek.com.sg is the largest and most active Star Trek fans group in Singapore (non-profit). We have over 500 Trekkies (a term referring to Star Trek fans) in our mailing list, and over 200 users in our online forums. Our Trekkies come from all walks of life ... from working adults (accountants, bankers, doctors, engineers, lawyers, scientists, lecturers, journalists, businessmen, senior civil servants, etc.) to students (Post-graduates, Under-graduates, Poly/ITE/secondary, etc). Our fanbase include all races, religions, genders, ages, and various nationalities ... a true spirit of Star Trek!

To commemorate the premiere Star Trek episode first aired on 8 September 1966.
- Gene Roddenberry Day - October, 4th
To commemorate the creator of Star Trek, the late Gene Roddenberry, also known as the "Great Bird of the Galaxy". This Day is officially declared by El Paso, Texas, USA. - First Contact Day - April, 7th
To commemorate humans first contacted friendly aliens and began deep space exploration.
In addition to the 3 festivals, StarTrek.com.sg organises lots of activities throughout the year, as frequent as twice or trice a month. The most popular gathering is video screening at private residences offered by our fellow Trekkies, showing Star Trek, Babylon 5, Andromeda, Battlestar Galactica and other science-fiction themes. Other activities include movie outings, Star Trek Customizable Card Game (CCG) Tournaments, Star Trek Role Play Game (RPG), and even Star Trek Origami class! Occasionally, we also organise special theme nights such as Klingon Night, Cardassian Night, Federation Food Feast. We have also been invited by the Civil Service Club, Health Promotion Board, National Library, and Singapore Microcomputer Society to organise Star Trek talks and exhibition booths. Every quarterly we would organise a grand Trekkies BBQ/dinner function, and we also place mass order of Star Trek collectibles from the Net twice annually for all our Trekkies.
To contribute back to the society, StarTrek.com.sg has organised blood donations at the Blood Bank regularly. To promote a healthy lifestyle, we also take part in the annual Big Walk organised by The New Paper, Paintball Challenge by SAFRA, educational tour to the NEWater plant, and nature walks at Bukit Timah and MacRitchie Reservoir.
StarTrek.com.sg has built up strong partnerships with Malaysia Star Trek fansite, Indonesia Star Trek fansite, Singapore Star Wars fansite, Movie Mania, and Malaysia Science-Fiction & Fantasy Community.
